The AIM Trainer was born from a need. A need to prevent injuries and recover from them faster. There used to be nothing in the marketplace that developed the intrinsic muscles of the hip and shoulder complexes. Now there is… The Aim Trainer. In the past, intrinsic hip muscle work was being performed by wrapping bands around 2x4’s or manual resistance. The exercises still worked, but training a group of athletes was very inefficient!
It took many years (over a decade) to create a piece of equipment that could effectively and efficiently train the neglected planes of hip movement (internal and external rotation and abduction and adduction). When coupled with the Vertical Developer, flexion and extension can be done as well.
The AIM Trainer is best suited for use in a strength and conditioning program, although physical therapy programs and chiropractors have had success with it as well. We have found it best used in both off and in-season strength and conditioning programs for high school, college and professional athletes. With its design, a full protocol can be done in less than 10 minutes, making it very easy to integrate into any training session.
